2. It offers a wealth of information
The information you can get from the Demographics Report is valuable, to say the least. The more you can know about your customers the better, and this report gives you access to a lot of information you wouldn’t know otherwise. Again, you’ll be able to tell your customers’ ages, household incomes, education levels, genders, and marital status.
3. You can use the report to create better ads
Amazon advertising is a must. 4. Only products with 100+ unique customers will be included
If you are a newer brand and you don’t have many sales yet, you might not be able to see the benefits of the Demographics report quite yet. Products that have been purchased 100+ times from 100+ unique customers will have the data promised by the demographics report, but if you have less than 100, you won’t get the information yet.
Don’t give up though – your patience and persistence will be worth it. In the meantime, do everything you can to get your sales up. The more sales you can make, the more demographic data Amazon will be able to collect for you.
5. You can search the report by AISN but not keywords
If you are a brand with a lot of products, you will want to know the demographics for each of your products. However, it can be difficult to find because you can’t search by keyword – you can only search by AISN. You will be able to see all the data once you type in the AISN number for the product you are looking at your demographics for.
6. It is only available in the United States as of now
Unfortunately, the Amazon Demographics Report is only available in the United States as of right now. However, as the platform grows and more sellers join, it will likely expand into other countries. If you don’t live in the United States, keep checking the updates – you never know when a feature will become available in your country.
